Okay, I´m here! The trip was long but I made it. I will make this short so I can be with my new family, but I wanted to let everyone know that I am in San Juan and feeling pretty good. There is a lot different and I need to improve my Spanish but my family is very nice. I´ll write later.
Molly, how did you get from Buenos Aires to San Juan? And when did you leave? I bet you will watch the World Cup today. -Mom
ReplyDeleteA group of five kids from AFS went to San Juan with me. After we went around Buenos Aires in a bus (with the Italian kids) we went to the bus station and boarded the San Juan bus with one of our leaders from San Juan. We got on the bus at about 6:30 and got to San Juan at like7:30, yes, I think it was about a 13 hour drive! The buses are super comfy, much better than planes, they lay back into beds and the lady serves dinner and breakfast, movies are played, and it´s warm! Here in their house it is very cold, and outside it is too. I thought it was going to be warmer but I have enough clothes. We watched the World Cup, Argentina won, and during that time, my sisters and I talked alot. I´m pretty bad at understanding the Spanish but I always try to talk in Spanish. I´ll e-mail.
